Brentford Football Club has secured an additional investment from MARV, the company of filmmaker Sir Matthew Vaughn, through its holding company Best Intentions Analytics Limited (BIA). Latham & Watkins has advised MARV on this additional equity investment. The Latham team was led by London corporate partners Ed Barnett and Hector Sants, with associates Ryan Martin and Nima Pourdad. Advice was also provided on financing matters by London partner Ross Pooley, with associates Mark Walker and Pamela Wei Jing Ng; on entertainment, sports, and media matters by London partner Patrick Mitchell, with associate Talal Abul; on tax matters by London partner Simon Skinner, with associate Joshua Atkinson; on real estate matters by London partner Quentin Gwyer, with associate Caroline Taylor; on data and technology matters by London partners Christian McDermott and Calum Docherty, with London counsel Elva Cullen, and associate Kate Burrell; and on employment matters by London partner Kendall Burnett, with counsel Charlie Bowden. This investment is a follow-up to MARV's initial investment in BIA in July 2025, when it first became a minority shareholder. The additional investment will help Brentford FC continue to grow and develop as a club.
