Brentford FC's 2026 sustainability survey has shown that fans continue to rate environmental action at the club as highly important, with a score of 8.2 out of 10. The survey, which received 1,588 responses, found that 74% of fans are interested in taking action to reduce the club's environmental footprint. This is a significant increase from previous years, with 65% of fans aware of the club's efforts to protect and enhance the environment. The introduction of wild venison in the matchday menu has been well received as a sustainable initiative that reduces the carbon footprint of the club's supply chain. Fans also reported that improved matchday infrastructure would help them make more sustainable choices to support the club's work. Nearly half of fans showed willingness to rideshare with other supporters and 36% would cycle to games to reduce the environmental impact of their matchday travel. The survey continues to show that fans want to stay informed about the club's sustainable activity, with over 1,100 fans saying they want to hear more from the club on sustainability. James Beale, head of sustainability and community, said: 'Our findings are broadly consistent with last year's survey and with what fans have told us throughout the year, that sustainability is still important to supporters. We've made a lot of progress, and I'm very proud to see that Bees fans continue to be engaged and willing to take action.'
